Shoal Creek Living History Museum Volunteer Form
Saturday, June 22nd 1870 10:00am to 1:00pm $6.00 per person 3 and under FREE
10:00am-11:15am Discussion and tour of the Thornton Mansion. This will include a short 10-15min discussion about the Thornton Family. Watch our reenactors bring the mansion to life as you walk through. The mansion will close at 11:10am for other activities.
11:15am-11:45am Short school program conducted by Shoal Creek school marm, Ms. Betty. Please arrive promptly at 11:15am for this program as the doors will be closed to allow for the uninterrupted program. Shoal Creek coloring pages will be offered at the end of the program.
11:45am-12:15pm Walk around and listen to old time music played by Common Threads. Shop the Mercantile. View our many historic buildings.
12:15pm- Skit performed by the Shoal Creek Reenactors. Gun fire is expected during the skit.
1:00pm- Event Concludes.
Please Read The Following As It Contains Important Information:
>Our event structure and admission fee has changed this year. Our event is from 10:00am to 1:00pm and is structured to go from one activity to another.
>Check in will start at 9:15am. The admission booth will be located inside the museum near the flag pole.
>The front walk in gate will close at 12:00pm as the event will have almost concluded. The gate will re-open at 1:30pm to the general public how ever the buildings will be closed at that time.
>Admission is $6.00 per person and can be paid via cash or with card via square. 3 and under are FREE.
>If a volunteer/ reenactor is not in a building, that building will only be open for viewing except for the mansion, which will close at 11:15am.
>Golf cart rides are only to be utilized for the elderly/disabled and will be located a the front gate, unless transporting another spectator. Please be patient as we may only have one driver in the am.
>Wear comfortable shoes as all pathways are gravel.

The Wilderness Run is a challenging cross-country run. Participants will run through the village, around the fields, up and down hills, over logs, through the woods, across creeks, and more! Don't think you can run? Don't worry, walkers, you too can sign up for this fun challenging course.
