​Hop Back in Time - Saturday, April 19th - 10:00am to 1:00pm
(Free Family Event) Pictures with the Easter Bunny. The buildings will be open and gated. No Egg Hunt. Mercantile will be closed.


At History's Doorstep - 10:00am to 1:00pm
Admission - $5.00 per person. Ages 3 and under are free

The event is for patrons to view the inside of the buildings with history provided. No skits. Mansion, School, Church, and City Hall open with discussion. Other buildings will be gated and open for viewing.
Saturday, June 7th- 10:00am to 1:00pm
Saturday, July 19th- 10:00am to 1:00pm


Pioneer Days - 10:00am to 1:00pm
Admission - $8.00 per person. Ages 3 and under are free
The Pioneer Days will include historic skits, music,  and open historic buildings.

Saturday,  June 21st- 10:00am to 1:00pm- Portraying the year 1869 
Saturday,  July 26th- 10:00am to 1:00pm-  Portraying the year 1876
Saturday,  August 30th- 10:00am to 1:00pm- Portraying the year 1886
Saturday, September 27th- 10:00am to 1:00pm - Portraying the year 1890

Kids Safe Trick or Treat- 10:00am to 2:00pm
Admission - $8.00 per person. Ages 10 and under are free
The Kids Safe Trick or Treat will include candy from citizens of Shoal Creek at each of the buildings, fun historic games, and open historic buildings.
Saturday, October 25th- 10:00am to 2:00pm

Visit with St. Nicholas - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Admission - $8.00 per person. Ages 10 and under are free
Visit with St. Nicholas in the CrossRoads Inn and receive Christmas treats. Walk around the town and view the historic buildings.

The Wilderness Run is a challenging cross-country run. Participants will run through the village, around the fields, up and down hills, over logs, through the woods, across creeks, and more! Don't think you can run? Don't worry, walkers, you too can sign up for this fun challenging course. 
Shoal Creek Living History Museum is located in beautiful Robert H. Hodge Park, 7000 NE Barry Rd., Kansas City, Missouri, 64156. Located just off Hwy 152, Shoal Creek is between I-435 (to the west) and I-35 (to the east), just 2 miles west of Liberty, Missouri.



The Annual Wilderness Run is held on the first Saturday in November.
